De tekening en de letters die de verschillende onderdelen aanduiden komen overeen met een prent uit: Spiegel, Adriaan van den, en Daniel Bucretius. De humani corporis fabrica libri decem. Venetië: s.n., 1627. Tekening zit in een omslag met meerdere anatomische tekeningen, genummerd RP-T-1989-256 en RP-T-1989-258 t/m RP-T-1989-289.
