Group of vases

Amstel, Porceleinfabriek aan den, c. 1784

Two of the vases in this group bear the mark of the Porceleinfabriek aan den Amstel, the successor of the Loosdrecht porcelain factory. Just as the factory at Loosdrecht had earlier bought up the stock and moulds of its predecessor in Weesp, so did the factory in Ouderkerk aan de Amstel take over the inventory of Loosdrecht.

    Vaas van porselein. Het bolle vat staat op een hoge voet. Het naar boven wijd uitlopende bovenstuk is opengewerkt. Aan weerszijden S-vormige oren, en een vergulde, opengewerkte deksel.
