Weesper porseleinfabriek, c. 1759 - c. 1771

The application of enamel colours to the porcelain represented a great challenge to the Weesp porcelain factory. Only in 1764 did it gain some proficiency in this. That this process was still in its infancy is illustrated by the fact that some cups and saucers are more purple than pink.

    Theeservies bestaande uit een theepot, een spoelkom, een theebus, zes koppen en schotels, een rond schaaltje en een pattipan. Het servies is versierd met veelkleurige landschappen in een medaillon uitgespaard in een paars geometrisch patroon. Gemerkt met twee gekruiste zwaarden en drie bollen in onderglazuurblauw.
