Baby’s Jacket

anonymous, c. 1760 - c. 1800

This baby’s jacket is decorated with painted flowers, pomegranates, and pears. The four red bows at the front add an extra cheerful touch to it. It was probably made by reusing the fabric from a bed cover or an adult’s garment.
