Waterlow & Sons Limited (mentioned on object), 1878

Nowadays selling clothing and other products by means of photographs is a matter of course, however in the 19th century this was quite a novelty. The high costs prevented many from venturing on this path right away. The London firm of T.S. Freeman & Sons, however, seems to have been optimistic enough to place this advertisement in a guide for English local authorities.
