IJzeren percussieslot met aftrektouw. De hamer heeft twee kwadranten bij de as, die tussen twee wangen is gemonteerd. Op de kwadranten is een dubbel aftrektouw bevestigd. Het huis wordt achter tegen het kulas gemonteerd en de wangen, die aan weerskanten van de slotverhevenheid komen, met een bout daar dwars doorheen vastgemaakt.

Entry

Iron percussion lock with lanyard.

The hammer has two quadrants at the axle, which turns between two cheeks. A double lanyard is fastened to these quadrants. The lock is designed to be mounted against the breech with the cheeks embracing the vent patch, to which it is secured with a bolt going through it.

Two unnumbered locks with a foreign origin were found and their identification is by a process of elimination only. In his catalogue Obreen describes number 1034 (NG-MC-1034) as a Russian lock with close resemblances to number 712.1J.M.
